I have been trying to edit my pages and create new html pages under the old file manager but it
keeps reverting back to the New Control Panel. I have tried using the url you posted for the old
file manager to no avail. I am use to and like writing my own html. Could you please, please,
if at all possible, give us the option of writing our own html or using the control panel.

Hi,

About editing existing html files you have to click on "Edit" and, once the new screen appears, select "Normal Text Area" right besides the floppy disk icon.

If you want to create a new html file without using the WYSIWYG editor, you have two ways to create your own html files :
1- Create them in your pc and then upload them using the "Upload" button on the upper left corner above the "All", "Name", etc columns
2- Click on the "New FIle" button (on the upper left corner above the "All", "Name", etc columns) and, once the new screen appears, select "Normal Text Area" right besides the floppy disk icon.

I was curious. I noticed that Geocities.ws uses a auto correction feature in the HTML editor is there any way to disable this feature? I'm using Mozilla Seamonkey as my browser if that's any help.

Hi Chiên,

This is not a feature of the editor but from your browser, when you use the Text Editor ("Normal Text Area") mode your browswer seems to be performing an automatic spell check, you might need to disable it.
