I don't believe Geocities will have php/mysql because of the goal of the website itself.
The goal is to build the largest archive of the web. The Starting point is when yahoo closed geocities and Geocities.ws got rights to the name.
So In Short it will offer basic web hosting for users.
Where dreams meet fantasy.....

Hi

It is in our plans to provide PHP and Mysql support, it will not happen soon but it will happen eventually. About our relationship with Yahoo and GeoCities.com, we have no relationship of any kind with them.

Best regards
